 In other batting news, Lyons got a  massive  performance out of  Leora Hagan, who  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and three  RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two  home runs gave  Hagan a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Ava Vasquez, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and a  triple.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lyons was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arvada only posted a  batting average of  .167.
 Lyons is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record  this season. As for Arvada,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 14-9.
 A feisty cat fight will be fought when  Lions faces off against The Academy at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. They will need to watch out since Lyons has now posted at least ten  runs  in their last five matchups. Arvada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
