Basketball Recap: Ponder's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ponder had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Boyd Yellowjackets with a sharp 60-39 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Spencer Harrison, who posted 11 points. Myles Richardson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Ponder's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Boyd, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-24 record this season.

As of now, neither Ponder nor Boyd have any future games scheduled.
