After four games on the road, Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Southern Lab Kittens at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy beat Rayne 57-51.
Meanwhile, Southern Lab came up short against Central on Tuesday and fell 57-49.
Defeat or not, Southern Lab got some senior leadership from Cameron Hardnett who scored 21 points along with 3 steals and Troy Murphy who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. Hardnett scored a full 42.9% of Southern Lab's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The victory got Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Southern Lab, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
