Basketball Game Preview: Oakhill Christian Royals vs. Fond du Lac Home School Christian Athletics Association Disciples

The Oakhill Christian Royals will face off against the Fond du Lac Home School Christian Athletics Association Disciples at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Oakhill Christian is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Rock County Christian last Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Oakhill Christian had to suffer through a 76-44 loss at the hands of Rock County Christian. The Royals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-23.

Oakhill Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Elijah Harman, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds, and Isaac Vogel, who posted 18 points. Harman has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played.

Even though they lost, Oakhill Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Fond du Lac Home School Christian Athletics Association didn't have quite enough to beat Northeast Wisconsin Christian HomeSchool on February 1st and fell 67-65.

Oakhill Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Fond du Lac Home School Christian Athletics Association, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
