On the hitting side, Chloe Bledoe was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Garrett, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one double.
Lee pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Gate City, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
