The Scappoose Indians won the last time they faced the Tillamook Cheesemakers, and things went their way on Monday too. Scappoose came out on top against Tillamook by a score of 56-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Scappoose.
Despite the defeat, Tillamook saw an underclassman step up: Aubrey Hilton scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vivian Vogel, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
The victory got Scappoose back to even at 9-9. As for Tillamook, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Astoria the next time they take the court. Scappoose will head out to face Astoria at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Tillamook will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
