The Madison Park Academy Trojan-Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 71-36 loss at the hands of Valley Christian.
Valley Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Clary led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The game was Clary's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Urena, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds.
Madison Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Valley Christian, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Madison Park Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Golden Sierra at 4:30 p.m. on December 29th. Golden Sierra is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Valley Christian and Bear River will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
