Big Bear is a perfect 8-0 against Silver Valley since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will welcome the Trojans at 3:15 p.m. Big Bear knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Silver Valley likes a good challenge.
Big Bear's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Academy of Careers & Exploration as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 contests by six runs or more this season.

Kali Sanchez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kira Ellsworth, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Addyson Clays, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Big Bear kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in 21 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Silver Valley was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, falling 10-2.
Big Bear pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Silver Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Everything went Big Bear's way against Silver Valley in their previous meeting back in March, as Big Bear made off with a 23-1 win. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
