Silsbee had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the West Orange-Stark Mustangs as they made off with a 15-1 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Silsbee's victory bumped their record up to 19-4-2. As for West Orange-Stark, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Silsbee will face off against rival Vidor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 2.9, the Pirates 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, West Orange-Stark is set to take on their familiar foe Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
