The Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs waltzed into their game on Thursday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They secured a 63-58 W over Teays Valley. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Emily Bratton was her usual excellent self, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 42 points and 6 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tessa Brooks, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Bloom-Carroll is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Teays Valley, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7.
Bloom-Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 34-33 defeat vs. Circleville on the 10th. Teays Valley has also already played their next matchup, a 61-37 win against Logan Elm on the 10th.
