Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carlsbad). They claimed a resounding 60-26 win over the Deming Wildcats. The victory continues a trend for the Cavemen/Cavegirls in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Carlsbad's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Deming, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Carlsbad will square off against Gadsden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deming, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cobre at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
