In what's become a running theme this season, the WISH Academy Owls gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They really took it to Simon Tech for the full four quarters, racking up a 91-20 win at home. The win was familiar territory for WISH Academy who now have three in a row.
WISH Academy can attribute much of their success to Dawit Kebede, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kebede has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Enoch Tessema, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
WISH Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Simon Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
WISH Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Animo Venice at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Animo Venice focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday. Simon Tech's road trip will continue as they head out to face Animo Watts at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
