Kent Denver stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Eagle Ridge Academy at home to the tune of 92-43. 92 seems to be a good number for Kent Denver as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Kent Denver found their leader in underclassman Caleb Fay, who scored 30 points. Fay is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Gonnella, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Manual pushed their score all the way to 69 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 86-69 bruising from Adams City. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (58), Manual still had to take the loss.
Kent Denver's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
Everything came up roses for Kent Denver against Manual when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 94-65 victory. Will Kent Denver repeat their success, or does Manual have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
