Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindhurst). They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Rio Vista Rams on Thursday. Given the Blazers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the Rams are ranked 891st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lindhurst now has a winning record of 2-1-2. As for Rio Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
