Elkton (Md.) took the lead for good when it ran for a touchdown with 11:00 left in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat
Patterson Mill (Bel Air, Md.) 21-17 on Saturday.
After trailing 14-10 at the half, Patterson Mill went ahead on a
Trey Hall touchdown run with 5:00 remaining in the third.
By the end of the third, Elkton found itself trailing by 3 points as PM captured the lead thanks to one score in the quarter. The Bel Air school scored on a touchdown run by Hall in the quarter.

Luke DePasquale played well. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown.
EHS had given up an average of 11.0 points prior to the contest.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which PM took, 34-13.
The loss comes after Patterson Mill defeated North East 38-13 last week. With the win the Golden Elks extended their winning streak to three games.
Patterson Mill (5-4) goes up against Rising Sun in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna game matchup next week, while Elkton (8-1) locks horns with North East also in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna game.
