This season hasn't been kind to The Boulder Panthers, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 42-0 loss at the hands of Fort Collins. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Boulder in their matchups with Fort Collins: they've now lost three in a row.
Fort Collins' win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justin Cranford, who threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Gerardo Rivas was another key contributor, rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Boulder's defeat was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 2.5 points per game. As for Fort Collins, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
Boulder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fort Collins also has no future games currently scheduled.
