Jensen Beach has gone 9-1 against Centennial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Jensen Beach is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Jensen Beach took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Page, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 3rd.

Jensen Beach got a great performance from Cooper Proctor as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, Proctor posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since March 3rd.
At the plate, Andrew Polhemus was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Patrick Campbell, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Centennial fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Central on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cobras. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.
Centennial also got a good showing from Nate Sangiuolo, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Sangiuolo has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Alfonso Hernandez and Jack Greene stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hernandez went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Greene went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Tyler Maypole also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Jensen Beach pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Jensen Beach has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Centennial struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Jensen Beach's way against Centennial in their previous matchup back in February, as Jensen Beach made off with a 9-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
