 Leading Pelham to victory were  Tristen Rutledge and  Marcus Arnold.  Rutledge rushed for 100 yards and one  TD on only 13 carries, while  Arnold picked up 61 receiving yards and one  score. Rutledge is becoming a predictor of the Panthers' success: when he posts  at  least 100  rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't).
 Despite the loss, Leeds still got an impressive performance from   Taylon Gaiter, who rushed for 82 yards on only nine carries, and also caught one  touchdown.
With the  victory, Pelham broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5. As for Leeds, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record  this season.
 Pelham has already played their next matchup,  a  28-21  loss against Fort Payne on the 30th. Leeds does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
