Newberry strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 35-7 victory over the Saluda Tigers. The 35-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Newberry's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Saluda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
