Colorado Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Clyde Love, who scored 18 points. Love continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jason Bratis was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Colorado Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Forge Christian, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colorado Academy will face off against Eagle Ridge Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagle Ridge Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while Colorado Academy is ranked tenth). Forge Christian will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Manual at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Manual has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 617 points over their last eight contests.
