The Hawthorne Hornets entered their tilt with the Chiefland Indians with nine consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with ten. Hawthorne took their  contest at home  on Thursday with ease, bagging a  79-51 victory over Chiefland. Hawthorne has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  contests by 21  points or more this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hawthorne to victory, but perhaps none more so than   CJ Ingram, who  dropped  a triple-double on 27 points, 11  rebounds,  and ten  assists. It was the first time this season that  Ingram  posted eight or more  assists.  Dacarion Debose was another key contributor,  scoring 27 points along with four  steals.
 Hawthorne pushed their record up to 14-4 with that  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Chiefland, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
 Hawthorne will face off against Fort White at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Hawthorne is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 63.4  points per game this season. As for Chiefland, they will square off against Trenton at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Florida (Trenton is ranked 349th, while Chiefland is ranked 328th).
