Union Grove has gone a perfect 10-0 against Wilmot recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Union Grove will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Union Grove fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Milton on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Hawks by a score of 8-7. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Broncos' highest-scoring game to date.

Matthew Gruber made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those RBI were his first of the season. Cooper Dye was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Wilmot came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Purple Knights by a score of 11-8.

Nolan Sanew looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Preston Jones was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Watson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Wilmot's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Union Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Union Grove beat Wilmot 5-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Broncos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
