The Carlson Marauders were the 55-39 winner over the Roosevelt Bears when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Carlson took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Roosevelt. Carlson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Marauders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joshua Anderson, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Zachary, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Carlson's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlson will take on Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Trenton at 6:00 p.m. Trenton is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
