The St. Charles Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell to Carson City-Crystal 37-32. St. Charles has not had much luck with Carson City-Crystal recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Carson City-Crystal got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Reeder out in front who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson LeDuke, who scored ten points.
St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Carson City-Crystal, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Charles will face off against Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something St. Charles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carson City-Crystal, they will head out on the road to take on Ashley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Carson City-Crystal is facing Ashley at the right time seeing as Ashley is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
