Football Recap: Dexter Beats Potosi for Their Third Straight Victory

Dexter had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Potosi Trojans 33-12 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won seven contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Dexter, bringing their record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.3 points on average over those games. As for Potosi, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.

Coming up, Dexter will challenge Lift for Life Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bearcats will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. Potosi does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
