Los Lunas extended the longest winning streak in 4A District 6 this week by beating St. Pius X, 41-6. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Tigers.
Grants made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,523 from 7,596. The improvement was the result of 30-18 victory over the Pirates last week.
Miyamura's Zach Shank and Anthony Esquibel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Shank has thrown for 987 yards this season, while Esquibel has 20 catches for 290 yards. Los Lunas' Jalen Chavez leads the league in rushing yards with 557.
Belen led the league in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on Los Alamos.
