Susquenita was sadly handed a loss on Monday, but Colton Fry did his best to prevent it. Newport had no answer to Fry as he struck out 11 batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. Fry has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Fry and Susquenita will face off against Line Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
