The Heritage Christian Patriots lost against the HEARTS for Jesus Christ Guardians back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Heritage Christian had to suffer through a rough 56-22 loss at the hands of HEARTS for Jesus Christ. Heritage Christian has struggled against HEARTS for Jesus Christ recently, as their match on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead HEARTS for Jesus Christ to victory, but perhaps none more so than Silas Nixon, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for Nixon. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Davis, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Heritage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Heritage Christian will be staying on the road on December 18th to face off against Christian Community at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, they will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Varsity Opponent is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
