Even though the Washington Union Panthers scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, the Immanuel Eagles still came out on top. Immanuel took down Washington Union 75-57. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Immanuel also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Washington Union still got an impressive performance from Jasiah Woods, who scored 20 points along with three blocks and two steals. That's the first time this season that Woods posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Kado Felder, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Immanuel's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-10. As for Washington Union, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Immanuel will head out on the road to take on Central Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Valley Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 370 points over their last six matches. Washington Union won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Corcoran at 10:00 a.m. on January 20th. Corcoran is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.
