Having just played yesterday, the Hatton Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Covenant Christian Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Hatton is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Covenant Christian in Alabama (Hatton is ranked 166th, while Covenant Christian is ranked 376th).
On Thursday, Hatton came up short against Shoals Christian and fell 56-47. Hatton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Covenant Christian's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They walked away with a 36-29 victory over Sheffield. The victory was just what Covenant Christian needed coming off of a 43-19 loss in their prior game.
Hatton has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Covenant Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.
