Omaha North found their leader in underclassman Jerri'on Williams, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Mynor Strong was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Omaha South has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Omaha North, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Tuesday's match is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Omaha South have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 40% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Omaha North struggles in that department as they've made 48.3% of their threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Omaha South was dealt a bruising 66-23 loss at the hands of the Vikings in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Omaha South was down 35-15.
