The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Juniata Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Upper Dauphin Area will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Upper Dauphin Area barely beat Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the WolfPack with a sharp 14-5 win on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the WolfPack recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Ayden Winstead looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Landen Osenga and Karson Engle did most of the damage at the plate: Osenga got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI, while Engle went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those five hits gave Engle a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Mauser, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Juniata posted their closest win since May 12, 2025 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Line Mountain 7-5.
Daylyn Kennedy was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). Kennedy was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and two stolen bases. He has become a key player for Juniata: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-8 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cam Bargo, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Hayden Burd was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Upper Dauphin Area's record now sits at 10-6. As for Juniata, their record is now 3-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Upper Dauphin Area has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Juniata struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Upper Dauphin Area beat Juniata 9-4 when the teams last played on April 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
