The Beechcroft Cougars were the 62-55 winner over the Linden-McKinley Panthers when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Beechcroft took a 36-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Linden-McKinley on Tuesday.
Linden-McKinley found their leader in underclassman Christiana Towns, who scored 22 points. The contest was Towns' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jerielys Alba, who scored 7 points.
Beechcroft now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Linden-McKinley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Beechcroft will be playing at home against Northland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Linden-McKinley, they will head out on the road to face off against Whetstone at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
