Gulf Shores won the last time they faced Orange Beach and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dolphins came out on top against the Makos by a score of 2-0.

Gulf Shores never let Orange Beach on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

Elle Helton paced Gulf Shores' offense, picking up nine kills. Helton got some help from Velmira Sobol and her 13 assists. Helton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Gulf Shores has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. As for Orange Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-14.
