Wheaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Galena Bears, falling 93-68. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Wheaton's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Galena, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Wheaton will venture away from home to take on Sarcoxie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Galena, they will welcome New Covenant Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
