The Archbishop Riordan Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 27-20 to Saint Francis. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Archbishop Riordan in their matchups with Saint Francis: they've now lost five in a row.
Archbishop Riordan's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Charlie Johnson, who rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Kingston Keanaaina was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns. Saint Francis also got help from Perrion Williams who showed off his sure hands for 92 receiving yards.
Archbishop Riordan has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season. As for Saint Francis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.
