The Williams Vikings will face off against the Red Rock Scorpions at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Williams is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Williams is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Mayer get on the board and left with a 27-0 win on Wednesday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.
Audrina Baldwin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single hit, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Williams pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Red Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Williams took their victory against Red Rock in their previous matchup back in April of 2021 by a conclusive 14-0. Does Williams have another victory up their sleeve, or will Red Rock turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
