If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Prairie. They will challenge Potlatch on the road at 12:00 PM on Saturday. Potlatch will need to watch out since Prairie have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Prairie put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Genesee 78-0. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 56-0.
Meanwhile, Potlatch were fully in charge, breezing past Wallace 48-0. With Potlatch ahead 32-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Prairie to 3-1 and Potlatch to 2-1. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
