For the first time this season, Mt. Rainier will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the Stadium Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Rainier will be strutting in after a victory while Stadium will be coming in after a loss.
On Saturday, Mt. Rainier got the win against Lewis & Clark by a conclusive 21-5.

Nolan Enghusen
| 03/21/26 @ Lewis & Clark | 3 |
| 05/06/25 @ Kentridge | 2 |
| 04/29/25 vs Kennedy Catholic | 2 |

| 04/02/25 @ Kentwood | 2 |
The team relied heavily on Nolan Enghusen, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Rian Eaton was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Mt. Rainier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .619. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewis & Clark only posted an OBP of .452.
Meanwhile, Stadium came up short against Curtis on Friday, falling 12-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Finn Wood was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Wood was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Wood wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Aydeen Keen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.
Stadium now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mt. Rainier, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mt. Rainier has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .487. However, it's not like Stadium struggles in that department as they've averaged .479. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Mt. Rainier came out on top in a nail-biter against Stadium in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
