Grace Prep won the last time they faced Trinity Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Grace Prep Lions managed a 71-66 victory over the Trinity Christian Lions. The win was nothing new for Grace Prep as they're now sitting on three straight.

Grace Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mj Boyd, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. Amari Coleman was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 14 points and seven boards.

When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian lost, don't look at Jett Mccasland. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 17 to rack up 34 points. That's the most points Mccasland has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Delgado, who put up eight points and five rebounds.

Grace Prep's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-13.

Grace Prep and Trinity Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Grace Prep will take on Grace Community at 6:00 p.m. on February 18th up 452 places (151 vs. 603). Similarly, Trinity Christian (ranked 315th) will meet Fort Worth Christian (ranked 1217th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
