1A Conference 42 recap October 22, 2013
West Point added to the longest winning streak in 1A Conference 42 this week by beating King & Queen Central, 49-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Pointers.
West Point took down the Royal Tigers 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
LC Briggs' team's Robert "Mikey" Anerton and Chase Stewart led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Anerton has thrown for 1,379 yards this season, while Stewart has 21 catches for 485 yards. Marques Holmes from Middlesex leads the league in rushing with 1,047 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Mathews takes on the Pointers. As it stands, the Blue Devils are in third, while West Point is in first.
