Harrold is 0-3 against Munday since May of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Hornets will take on the Moguls at 5:00 p.m. Harrold knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Munday likes a good challenge.
Harrold was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Northside last Friday. The Hornets never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Tripp Tamplen made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Antonio Sahagun was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Joaquin Zambrano was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
Harrold always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They are 7-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Munday not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 17, 2025 (when they won 13-0). They put the hurt on Northside with a sharp 15-3 victory. The Moguls haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Haiden Bowman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Bowman was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kylen Crawford was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Ayden Montanez also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Harrold's record is now 9-4. As for Munday, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Harrold has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Munday struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Harrold suffered a grim 17-11 defeat to Munday in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
