The California high school basketball postseason has reached the state level and brackets are out for all six divisions and Northern California D-VI. Action begins this week with the state tournament scheduled for March 11-12 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

Centennial (Corona),
Harvard-Westlake (Studio City) and
Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth) are MaxPreps Top 25 teams competing in a loaded Southern California Open Division bracket. The Southern Section Open Division tournament saw No. 5 Centennial take the title with a 68-48 win over Hawvard-Westlake and grab the No. 1 seed in the race for Sacramento.
The girls side also is loaded with MaxPreps Top 25 teams as No. 2
Etiwanda, No. 6
La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla) and No. 8
Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth) will battle in the Southern California Open Division.
This will be the first state tournament since COVID canceled the finals in 2020. The 2019 boys champions include Sierra Canyon in the Open Division,
Chino Hills in Division I,
Campolindo (Moraga) in Division II,
La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla) in Division III,
Ribet Academy (Los Angeles) in Division IV and
Foothill (Bakersfield) in Division V.
The 2019 girls champions include Sierra Canyon in the Open Division,
Rosary Academy (Fullerton) in Division I,
Menlo School (Atherton) in Division II,
Oakland in Division III,
Oakland Tech (Oakland) in Division IV and
Caruthers in Division V.
