While losing is never fun, Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while the Wildcats are ranked 100th).
Despite the defeat, Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame saw an underclassman step up: Annelise Curran almost dropped a double-double on 37 points and nine steals. That was a full 78.7% of Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Wilbur-Creston-Keller, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
