Saline extended the longest winning streak in Southeastern - Red this week by beating Pioneer, 31-17. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Hornets.
Saline led the league in scoring this week after putting up 31 points on the Pioneers. Tyler Palka threw for 147 yards and ran for 76 yards in the win.
Saline's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Palka has thrown for 1868 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Gage Hammond has 43 catches for 731 yards. Palka also leads the league in rushing with 726 yards.
Going into this week's game against Cass Tech, Joe Palka's team's Palka needs 132 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
Bedford made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,137 from 2,434.
