After flying high against Kent School last Wednesday, Trinity-Pawling School came back down to earth. The Pride took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Avon Old Farms Beavers on Friday. Alex Cruz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Patrick Leonard, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Trinity-Pawling School now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Avon Old Farms, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
