The Inderkum Tigers won the last time they faced the Bullard Knights, and things went their way on Thursday too. Inderkum narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Bullard 55-52. The win made it back-to-back wins for Inderkum.
Inderkum was led to victory by Malik Johnson and Taylen Goodman. Johnson scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Goodman dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Goodman set a new season high mark in blocks with eight. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Johnson, who scored seven points.
Inderkum's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bullard, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Inderkum will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bakersfield Christian at 8:00 p.m. on December 8th. Bakersfield Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Inderkum likes a good challenge. Bullard won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hoover at 3:30 p.m. on December 8th. Hoover will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 448th, while Bullard is ranked 152nd).
