American Collegiate Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marcus Green, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Green has scored at least a third of American Collegiate Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Jamaal Caldwell, who went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 1 assist.
Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Charles Wilder, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilder has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Calhoun, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
American Collegiate Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Canterbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
American Collegiate Academy will head out on the road to face off against Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Canterbury, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sarasota Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
