On Saturday Concord take on Goffstown at 1:30 PM. Concord are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
It was all tied up at the half for Concord and Bishop Guertin last week, but Concord stepped up in the second half. Concord captured a comfortable 23-6 victory over Bishop Guertin. The success represented a nice turnaround for Concord, who in their last game suffered a tough 3-44 loss.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-44, which was the final score in Goffstown's tilt against Bedford.
Concord's win lifted them to 2-1 while Goffstown's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Concord's success rolls on or if Goffstown are able to steal their positive momentum.
