Brighton's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Gates Chili, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brighton will challenge Webster Schroeder at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Webster Schroeder presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Brighton in New York (Webster Schroeder is ranked 164th, while Brighton is ranked 437th). As for Gates Chili, they will head out on the road to challenge Churchville-Chili at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Churchville-Chili has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three matchups.
